Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs

These photographs were taken at Garden of the Gods Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They were all taken in the morning on March 7, 2003. Winter had stripped the trees of their leaves, but had also left an interesting tapestry of melting snow. Hiking trails were all inaccessible because of mud, except for the paved ones. Some day I'll have to go back and try the other trails.

These photographs were taken in the afternoon on October 17, 2003. Many of the leaves had lost their leaves, but the trails which had been closed on my previous trip were still open. The last picture of Pike's Peak was taken through the opening in Siamese Twins, which are shown in the picture before.
